Meet Our Therapist: Jensen Stanislaus
Why I Chose This Area:
I initially stepped into the field of eating disorder treatment by chance, but I quickly realized how much I enjoyed the work. It has challenged me, helped me grow as a clinician, and provided me with valuable, transferable skills for working with clients facing anxiety, depression, and trauma-related diagnoses.
Through both personal experiences and the experiences of family and friends, I’ve seen firsthand the transformative impact of therapy—especially when addressing trauma. Having personally benefited from talk therapy and CBT for anxiety, I know the power of having the right tools and support, and I’m passionate about helping others access that same level of care.
What I Want Clients to Know About Me:
I believe therapy should feel like a safe, supportive space, and I prioritize building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship with every client. My goal is to make sessions feel comfortable, engaging, and even conversational while ensuring we are actively working toward your goals.
A Few of My Favorite Things:
When I’m not working, I love spending time with friends and family, trying new restaurants, and heading down the shore in the summer. I also enjoy going to movies, concerts, and comedy shows, and I’m extremely competitive when it comes to board games and card games—especially Phase 10!
A Fun or Unexpected Fact About Me:
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a recruiter. And a fun fact? I once danced in the Disney Christmas Parade!
A Little More About Me:
Growing up, I always knew I wanted to help people—I just didn’t know exactly how. Now, I am passionate about destigmatizing mental health and providing support and resources to my community. Whether you're navigating an eating disorder, struggling with anxiety or depression, or working through past trauma, I’m here to walk alongside you on your path to healing.

I specialize in eating disorder treatment, along with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship/interpersonal challenges. While I primarily work with adults, I have experience supporting clients ranging in age from 14 to 65.
